Travel Expectation and Supply Logistics

We operate as a mobile studio, bringing our workshops and events to various locations to reach a wider audience. Our staff are expected to travel to event locations as needed to deliver their workshops and classes.

We understand that traveling for events may require logistical planning and coordination. Our management team is dedicated to ensuring the smooth delivery of necessary supplies and equipment for each event.

By managing the logistics of supply delivery, we aim to alleviate any concerns our staff may have about traveling for events, allowing them to focus on what they do best—inspiring creativity and sharing their craft with our community.

Instructor/ Teacher

Stellar Creative Arts is always seeking talented and passionate individuals to join our team as Creative Instructors. As a Creative Instructor, you will have the opportunity to showcase your unique craft and teach it to others in a supportive and collaborative environment. Whether you are a fine artist, woodworker, chef, quilter, or possess any other creative skill, we welcome you to share your expertise with our community.

We offer a diverse range of workshops, classes, and events designed to inspire and empower our community through the arts. At Stellar, we provide a platform for individuals who possess creative skills to showcase their talent and teach it to others. You can join Stellar as a freelancer to teach occasional workshops or as a member of our staff as a part time employee.

Responsibilities:

Develop and teach engaging workshops or classes based on your creative expertise.
Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where students of all skill levels feel encouraged to explore and develop their creative abilities.
Prepare materials, resources, and lesson plans for each workshop or class session.
Provide personalized instruction and feedback to students to support their learning and growth.
Collaborate with the Stellar Creative Arts team to promote and market your workshops or classes to the public.
Maintain open communication with students, staff, and management to ensure a positive and successful teaching experience.
Travel to event locations as needed, as Stellar Creative Arts operates as a mobile studio.

Qualifications:

Demonstrated expertise in your creative craft, with a passion for sharing your knowledge and skills with others.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with students from diverse backgrounds and skill levels.
Previous teaching or instructional experience is preferred but not required. We welcome both experienced instructors and those new to teaching.
Creativity, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude towards teaching and learning.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, with a willingness to embrace and celebrate the unique strengths and perspectives of every individual.
Flexibility to travel to event locations as needed.
At least 21 years of age.

Instructor Assistant

Stellar Creative Arts is passionate about providing employment opportunities for local students ages 16+ as Instructor Assistants (IAs). Our IAs are vital to ensure our programs run smoothly. Without this position, Stellar would not be able to run efficiently. Assistants are scheduled as needed.

Responsibilities:

Assist teachers in preparing materials and resources for lessons, workshops, and events.
Collaborate with teachers to support the implementation of lesson plans and activities.
Provide individualized support to students as needed, including helping with art projects and activities.
Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment, including setting up and cleaning up materials and supplies.
Assist with administrative tasks such as record-keeping, attendance tracking, and communication with participants.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where all participants feel supported and encouraged to explore their creativity.
Act as a positive role model for students, demonstrating enthusiasm for the arts and a commitment to lifelong learning.
Travel to event locations as needed, as Stellar Creative Arts operates as a mobile studio.

Qualifications:

Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
Creativity and a passion for the arts, with experience in visual arts, performing arts, or other creative disciplines preferred.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and collaborate with teachers, staff, and students.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to support the learning and development of students of all abilities.
Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting is preferred but not required.

Flexible transportation arrangements to travel to and from events as needed.
